Åsa Danielson Grimpe was born in 1965 and grew up in Grebbestad and Västervik.
At a young age, she came into contact with nature spirits, who have helped her throughout her life. Their advice has given her balance, harmony and has also helped her recover from her rheumatism. She now wants to share her knowledge. She Calls Me Daughter is her debut as a writer.
Åsa grew up in a large family with four children and both parents were teachers. Throughout her childhood, she was close to the sea where the family spent a lot of time. She is both curious and quite fearless, which has led her to try many different things throughout her life. She is educated at the University of Gothenburg. Four years at the International Master of Business Administration program at the School of Economics and Business Administration, continuing in developing country studies and Latin American studies with the aim of making a career within SIDA and the UN. However, she then chose a different path with a family and a life closer to Sweden. She has tried many different professions in different industries. Today, she lives with her husband outside Stenungsund.
