The publishing house Siljans Måsar publishes existential literature that enriches!
The seed for the publishing house was sown at Siljan in Dalarna on a cold October evening, 2008. It was a magical evening with spiritual presence, where the writing took shape, which is described in our first spiritual book "Ljus från Norr". The publishing house is run by Yvonne Frank Månsson, self-employed since the 80s, Creative Producer, Foreign Correspondent, lecturer and author. "Siljan" in the name stands for the power and beauty of nature and "Måsar" for the inner, subtle perspective – the spiritual messenger.
The publishing house Siljans Måsar is a voice for those authors who write the good and healing word, from life experience of pain, fear and sorrow; wisdom, filled with the power of forgiveness and trust in life. The publisher's ambition is to publish and highlight those authors who share our philosophy of life of humanity, goodwill, respect, consideration and joy of life.
The publisher has its headquarters with warehouse in Ystad, offices in Pukavik, Blekinge and our books at Vattumannen, in Stockholm. Distribution via Stardist, Publit, Axiell Media and Bokinfo.
In January 2017, the publisher published its hundredth book. On October 18, 2018, the publisher turned 10, which was celebrated at Ulriksdal Castle Garden in Stockholm. In 2021, the publisher celebrated thirteen years and we celebrated by publishing our third anthology, “Det Intuitiva”, with thirteen authors, nine Swedish and four English-speaking. In 2024, we expect to have over 275 published titles as well as audio and e-books, in both English and Swedish, and, with over 230 authors all over Sweden.
Our books want to give you as a reader experiences of conscious comfort, hope and joy. Today we are aware that the power is within us, that we are our own creators and that the joy of life is something you decide to choose within yourself. Reading a spiritual book where the author has been involved in discovering insights like these can improve your life on many levels. A spiritual book with guidance, power and life experiences can also give back the insight into your own primal power that longs to be discovered. Spiritual books dispel anxiety, create trust, enrich, provide inspiration and ignite the flame of longing for vitality.
