Summary of the book project:

• For those of you who want to get a real boost and greater impact for your ideas – and at the same time become an author!
• You own your own text entirely. You choose how to use it after you have been included in the book series, as long as no other third party has a share of the rights.
• You are purchasing 200 copies of the book – in a modern design – a book to be proud of.
• The publishing house Siljans Måsar owns the work and is responsible for marketing that reaches the book industry in Sweden, Norway and Finland.
• You will gain insight and understanding of the basics of writing through writing workshops via Zoom. These are recorded in case you are unable to participate.
• You will receive specially designed banners, covers, sample chapters, tour plans, etc. to use for marketing in your social media and in email campaigns.
• You will receive your own author presentation on our website and inside the book.
• You are invited to our closed Facebook group, where we can get to know each other better, receive support, and come up with ideas for how we can reach out even more widely with our book.
• You are part of a network of authors, self-employed people and reach new target groups.
• You will be a VIP guest at the book launch at Vattumannen in Stockholm, where you can invite your guests and interested parties.
• Your 200 books will be sent to you for a shipping fee or picked up at the book releases or at the publisher in Ystad.
• The publisher is arranging book releases in Stockholm in 2026!

Here's what happens when you've been accepted into the book project:

Write a maximum of 35,000 characters including spaces, including your author presentation, and submit to yvonne@siljansmasar.com, no later than January 31, 2026. Also send contact information, alternatively a website address, and a high-resolution photo with the photographer's name. You do not need to have previous writing experience - we will train you and hold writing and sales courses during the project:

• Max 35,000 characters including spaces, including author introduction.

During February and March 2026, we will review your text to refine and polish the details; everything from dramaturgy to language and proofreading. You need to be prepared to cooperate and spend the time needed to complete your material.

Editorial review of layout will take place after typesetting in April 2026.

In April 2026, the entire manuscript will go to our designer for typesetting and then to print in April 2026. We expect delivery in early May 2026. Book releases will be arranged in Stockholm at Vattumannen. We recommend that you also arrange your own book release.

The goal is to make a highly inspiring book with a long lifespan, one that you can truly be proud to be a part of and that strengthens your brand.
