Where do we come from and where are we going? Author and former police chief Per Olof Ahlström has pondered this question a lot since he attended a spiritualist seance in 1993, where he came into contact with his grandfather. He decided to delve deeper into the subject of spiritualism and reincarnation.

The book Spiritual Things seeks to find explanations for many questions, including: How will the “resurrection” take place? Will all of us, who have ever lived on Earth, several hundred billion people, be resurrected physically – on Earth or on another planet? At the same time? And where is heaven? Or does it only apply to those who believe in God according to the Christian way of looking at things? Where will the others end up in that case?

Over a billion people believe in reincarnation. Surveys conducted show that nearly two million young and adult Swedes also hold this view.

Spiritual things are primarily a source of information about what the paranormal world means and can thereby provide a basis for how one should believe in these matters, which has also been the author's driving force for writing the book. The book can be used as a reference in these matters.

Per Olof Ahlström has a degree in law and is a trained police chief. He has worked for 32 years as a police chief in various functions in the counties of Jämtland and Västernorrland. His own comment on the book: “Through my visits to seances and by reading the books written by the mediums, I have gained a completely new and more positive view of life, which has given me great security in life.”
