Rembrandt as I remember him

Andreas Osika

Hardcover; 112 pages

On healing and love in Rembrandt's footsteps

Do we live several lives or only one? For Andreas Osika, who has severe autism, the answer is obvious. Together with his mother Hilke Osika, he traveled around Holland and Germany and remembered his old artistic life. He now tells about these and other experienced lives in the book "Rembrandt as I remember him".

Andreas Osika only learned to communicate with his surroundings at the age of 45. Using a method commonly known as “assisted communication,” he can now converse with those around him via a whiteboard or computer.

This is what Andreas writes in his author presentation: “My name is Andreas and I can’t speak. But when my mother or someone else presses my hand, I can feel it and then I can write with my index finger on the computer’s letters. It’s the most fun I know. Because then we can talk about everything that interests me. It’s above all what I remember from my previous lives…”

Maybe you have at some point come across an old memory from a past life, but didn't understand what it meant to you. We need to practice talking to each other to learn to remember these lives, says Andreas. We all have a responsibility to each other.

It was a surprised Hilke who followed Andreas in Rembrandt's footsteps during their trip to Amsterdam. It turned out that he found Rembrandt's house on his own, could tell what each room had been used for, and could tell when the paintings were genuine or not. Everything Andreas told Hilke later turned out to be true. life. He also remembers his life as a medicine man among the Incas long before the birth of Christ.

This is the third brother Osika with severe autism to publish a book through Förlagshuset Siljans Måsar. In his own words and without corrections to the text, Andreas here expresses his thoughts about reincarnation and about the intelligence in love that runs through all of our lives, and that weaves us all together.
