The hidden years

May-Lis Richardson

Perhaps the greatest medium of the late 19th and mid-20th centuries was Edgar Cayce. He lived in the United States and could, during a sleep-like state, tell about the past, present and future. These messages, known as readings, were written down and have been preserved.

There is a lot to read about the time when Jesus lived on earth. Based on these readings but also with the help of other material, I want to give a picture of the greatest Master who ever lived on earth in this book.

Jesus grew up in an Essene family. The Essenes were a branch of Judaism, but there is no mention of them in the Bible. There is also no record of the time from Jesus’ birth until he was questioned in the temple in Jerusalem at the age of twelve. The same applies to what he went through during the many years that passed until his great missionary work began. By then Jesus had reached the age of about thirty.

For Jesus, everyone was of equal value, regardless of gender, religion or occupation. He also constantly emphasized that we do not need to visit churches or temples to reach the truth. We have the temple within us. In the troubled times we now live in, it is incredibly important and also healing and comforting that the message of his teachings, his message of love, is once again brought to light.
