Should she die now? After being diagnosed with cancer, the ground shakes under Catrin's feet. She who has lived a healthy life and felt so healthy and strong. How could she have cancer? In the proximity of death, she is now forced to look deep into herself and face her fears. She asks for help to endure, understand and heal. When the darkness is at its thickest, she receives an unexpected angelic visit.

It is the Archangel Gabriel who makes his entrance. During her nightly dreams, she is awakened by the angel who asks her to write down everything that is said. The messages from Gabriel will be made into a book titled An Easier Way to Go, he decides .

A healing process begins for Catrin. She writes and paints. Now, five years later, here it is, in Gabriel's words, intertwined with Catrin's interests and experiences.

An Easier Way to Go aims to provide guidance and comfort so that you as a reader can have an easier way to go in your life, with advice on simple everyday habits, channeled meditation images, and meditation exercises.

Catrin Skött works with healing, medial guidance, painting, which she also gives courses in. She has previously worked as a decorative painter, including at the Royal Palace in Gamla Stan, museums and churches. Her current honorary assignment is to paint a silk wallpaper that will decorate a room at Gripsholm Castle. Catrin was born and raised in Rättvik but has lived in Stockholm for a long time.
