In the light of Mary

Agneta Bilker

Softcover, 400 pages

Whose voice was it that spoke to her time and time again and filled her with unusual peace. The voice, which was filled with love, care and gave her many spiritual messages. She was helped to open the door into a previous life, when she lived as a woman named Mary. There she found herself in a completely new place, in a dry, barren and rocky area just outside Jerusalem, at the beginning of our era. She was in Mary's body and also spoke with her voice. Mary found herself in the middle of her family village surrounded by her own family belonging to the Essenes, who were threatened, persecuted and at risk of being exterminated by the Romans for their faith.

It soon became apparent that the voice speaking to her belonged to Mary's beloved son, Thomas, from that time, and who was also her spiritual guide.

Follow the author on her journey as Maria through a turbulent time on the run to avoid capture or sale to the Romans. The book describes many thoughts and reflections on life philosophy, relationships, cultural differences, society's view of women's roles, and deep discussions about love. Maria and Tomas' strong relationship as twin souls and Tomas' spiritual lessons enrich and bring the story to life.
