Birgitta has worked as a teacher and then for several years as an instructor and instructor trainer within the Dale Carnegie organization in Sweden. One day she lost the ability to speak and was forced into an involuntary silence and solitude for a long time.

Going out into nature became a way to temper her isolation. During long walks, she experienced the healing power of nature. After a while, she realized that she had been given the opportunity for a break in the middle of life. A break that made it possible to put all demands aside. During this long time in silence, she "received" beautiful texts about how life can be lived on earth.

Quotes like: SEE WITH JOY ON THE DAY and WHAT IS YOUR TRUTH? made her reflect on life and give her new insights. These texts became the book: Light flows over the earth, which has been very appreciated.

After the long "silence", she started her own company where she offered training courses with a focus on personal development based on each person's "journey".

The book was created in collaboration with Ann-Louise Bäckström, who drew inspiration for the beautiful images from the texts.

The book also includes a CD with text & reading by Birgitta Sjöqvist to music by composer Ralph Lundsten - Dream Waves.
