Recommended reading from Tidningen Kulturen (2017-05-12):

"Swedish mystics are not common, but the Swedish priest Fritz Olofsson (1929–2008) was one of them. Even though Fritz Olofsson himself was sparing in publishing his own writings, with A Mystical Doctrine as his only published book, Åke Åredal has now managed to compile a comprehensive biography with a detailed description of his life, spiritual work and mystical doctrine."

The language in the book is simple and to the point, it is never without a burning commitment to its subject. Even for those who only have a general interest in Christian mysticism, or indeed, mysticism in general, this book will most certainly be easy to engage from beginning to end.
