When the veils fall

Agneta Bravélius

Softcover with flap, 224 pages

Is it really allowed to follow one's innermost dreams?

Isn't it a bit selfish to go your own way?

And don't you have to have a good economy to be able to affirm yourself?

Edith's life is a constant struggle and she works hard to make ends meet. There is never enough money, the children's father meets a new woman, and when Edith is laid off from her job, she reaches rock bottom. While she fights her battle to survive, several deaths occur around her. Torn by their fate, she begins her journey upward again. But it is slow and Edith is impatient. What is the real meaning of life? Does she have what it takes to live the life she has always dreamed of?

Tired of struggling, processing and dealing, she wishes she could just snap her fingers and transport herself to a completely different existence. As if by magic, Edith comes into contact with Clara and John. They help her get through new portals to explore new worlds.

Slowly but surely, Edith begins to accept herself in order to live her life to the fullest. Can it really be as simple as the solutions to our problems being much closer than we think, but we are blinded to seeing them?

Review:

"When the Veils Fall" by Agneta Bravèlius published by Förlagshuset SILJANS MÅSAR. In this book we follow Edith, who makes an inner journey. We get to know her when her life has reached rock bottom, and then follow her journey forward. Edith has been left by her husband when he found another woman. She is fired from her job, and has incurred debts. It is a struggle to survive every month, and there is never any money left. Now she has reached rock bottom. She is ashamed. Will she dare to tell her children how it is? Maybe they will not even want to have anything to do with her after she tells. After several deaths close to her, she becomes afraid that life is about to end. Now she wants to take control of her life. Then she comes into contact with Clara and John. They show her the way to a new and better life, and with the new insights she gains, she manages to change her life to the life she has always longed for. We follow her amazing journey from a stressful life to a life where she affirms herself and her ability to create the life she always longs for. A life filled with color, love and abundance.

This is a beautifully packaged book about personal development. Yes, the law of the jungle can really destroy people. Going with your well-established thoughts, that you don't deserve better, is an obstacle for so many. Why can't we humans do the opposite? Encourage each other instead? I really enjoyed reading how Edith changed her life from mediocre to magical. I think it's amazing how the universe helps the woman in the book in different ways. What a fantastic story. She gets in touch with her guides and they help her reach her dream goal, to have her own Bed and Breakfast. Along the way, we get to follow how she learns to affirm herself, and instead of continuing to bury herself, she starts to treat herself to a new lipstick, and a new dress. At the same time, she indulges in her recipe books and enjoys baking and cooking her favorite dishes. Along the way, she also gets better contact with her children. Suddenly, opportunities line up as if on demand. I think the book is beautifully retold and I am grateful to have read it. Lovely ending. The book gets ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️/5." Rämmengården

"Now, I've read your book! It's a very nice book! Edith is a strong woman, who managed to turn her worries and fears into affirming herself! And to finally achieve her dream! I think your book can be a support, because there are many women who are in a similar situation, and who don't dare to follow their innermost dream! Because of their fear of failure! I like your funny expressions in the book. So beautifully designed with the veils that run through the whole book!"/Birgitta
