Peter Jacobsen is an after-school teacher and has worked in after-school centers, schools and preschools for many years. He invented the boy Seppo to create space for children's own imagination, to give them the opportunity to process things in life. With the book, he wants to put into words feelings such as being let down and abandoned, getting redress when you are treated unfairly, not fitting in and finding your place in life, but also about prejudice and exclusion. "Seppo's Adventures", the first in a series of several books, is an exciting and fun chapter book with independent adventures for children between five and nine years old. For Peter, imagination is the mother of creativity, and his idea is that the children themselves choose which Seppo adventure suits their focus in life.
